This Cool Concept Refrigerator Is Ultra Green
If it’s garden fresh veggies you seek check out this concept refrigerator designed by Hanna Sandström for Whirlpool in conjunction with Green Fortune. There are two ways this unit is designed to function.
Grocery store purchased vegetables will be kept fresher longer by placing them in the kitchen garden system. Or you can actually grow small herbs and veggies from seeds right in the door. The system is designed to provide grow lighting and proper moisture for plants. All you need to do is harvest what you like at mealtime. Imagine the freshness!
Apparently not all of the details of exactly how this revolutionary appliance might function have been worked out yet. If this concept makes it to production it could be an excellent way for urban dwellers or small scale gardeners to go green.
